IX International Tax Law Congress of Rio de Janeiro Brings Together 251 Speakers
The IX International Tax Law Congress of Rio de Janeiro, organized by ABDF – IFA Brazil, took place on 12–14 August 2026 under the theme "Tax Reform in Motion: First Challenges of Implementation".
Over three days, the Congress brought together 251 speakers, 40% of them women, in 44 sessions, including 36 panels, half of them held exclusively online. The event had 2,896 registrations and the support of 72 sponsors.
The program included the WIN plenary session "Elas Debatem", a panel organized by ABDF Jovem | YIN IFA and a session dedicated to IFA 2026 Melbourne. The Congress also hosted the launch of the book in honor of Gustavo Brigagão, ABDF's President Emeritus.
